Roman Kienast (born March 29, 1984) is a Austrian football player who currently plays for Hamarkameratene in Norway.
Club careerKienast came to Ham-Kam on loan from Rapid Wien just before the 2006 seson started, but after good play during the spring, Ham-Kam decided to buy him. He could not help prevent Ham-Kam from going down that season, but they got promoted again on the first try, with Kienast playing an intregual part during the campaign[1]. As of 27 May Kienast has not scored during the 2008 season in Ham-Kams comeback to the top flight. National teamKienast is a regular in the Austria squad and so far played 6 times for his country. He scored his first senior goal on 27 May with his 1-0 goal against Nigeria in a friendly. After that game, coach Josef Hickersberger chose him in the final squad for the European Championship[2].
